About
Built for the way
shops in Pakistan trade.
Most counter software was designed for someone else's shop, and the people using it work around it every day. We built NexusTill so they don't have to.
Why we built it
The register was a
notebook.
Walk into an independent shop and you will find a drawer, a calculator and a notebook full of names and numbers. The notebook is the credit ledger, the record of who owes what. It is the most important document in the business, and the one most likely to be lost, argued over or wrong.
The shopkeeper also gives two kinds of receipt, a quick informal one and an official taxed one, because that is how business is done. Most generic software has no place for it.
NexusTill is built around those facts. Customer credit has its own ledger. The quick receipt and the tax invoice both come from the same till. When the internet goes, the till keeps taking money.
What we believe
Three rules
we build by.
The cashier is the real user.
We design for the person ringing up a sale with a queue behind them, more than for the owner or the accountant. If the cashier cannot learn it in a day, the rest does not matter.
It has to work on a bad day.
Internet drops, dead laptops and power cuts happen. Sales queue offline and sync when they can, and your data is kept in the cloud, so losing the machine does not lose your records.
Say what is true.
We would rather tell you that two of our plans have the same features than invent a difference to fill a column.
