Terms of service.

What you are agreeing to when you use NexusTill: the plans, the 7-day trial, how card payment and automatic renewal work, cancellation and refunds, and what each of us is responsible for.

The agreement

These terms are the agreement between NexusTill and the business that uses it. NexusTill is a trading name of Muhammad Hassaan Abrar (a sole proprietorship registered in Pakistan, NTN 3630263196273) — see our Ownership statement for the full detail. In this document, we means NexusTill and you means your business. By creating an account or using the product you accept them, and if you are accepting on behalf of a business you confirm you are allowed to.

Our privacy policy forms part of this agreement, and so does our refund policy. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

What NexusTill is

NexusTill is subscription software: a point of sale with inventory, customer credit and tax invoicing, and reporting, used in a web browser and through the NexusTill Android app.

We license it to you for the period you have paid for. You are not buying the software and you do not own a copy of it. The trade marks, the design and the code remain ours; your data remains yours.

Your account

Signing up creates an account, but it does not open it. New businesses are reviewed by us before access is granted, normally within one working day. We do that to keep the platform clean, and we may decline a signup.

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access. Give every person who uses NexusTill their own staff account — sharing one login makes your own audit trail useless to you, which is exactly when you will need it.

You must give us accurate details when you register, and keep them up to date. We contact account owners by email, so an email address you no longer read is a problem you will eventually feel.

Plans and prices

Prices are shown in your region's currency (Pakistani rupees in Pakistan, US dollars elsewhere) and exclude any tax that applies. The amount charged is always the one displayed at checkout for your plan and region — the current prices for each plan are on our pricing page.

  • Starter — One till, two people. Everything you need to start selling properly.
  • Growth — Staff on the counter, a kitchen to cost, and the numbers to run the place.
  • Scale — Every branch you open, one price — and books that close themselves.

Annual billing is ten months price for twelve months of service — two months free. You can switch to annual from the Billing screen once you are a paying customer; it is not offered at signup, because a billing choice made before you have used the product is a choice made blind.

What each plan includes is listed on our pricing page and enforced by the product itself. There is no contract, no minimum term and no setup fee, and you can move up or down a plan whenever you like. Moving up takes effect once the new plan is activated; moving down takes effect from your next period.

The free trial

Every plan includes a 7-day free trial, which starts when your account is approved. The trial is the full product on the plan you chose, not a cut-down version.

No payment is taken to start the trial. When it ends, access pauses until you choose a plan and subscribe — nothing is charged unless and until you do. Your data is not deleted when a trial ends, and it is waiting for you if you come back.

One trial per business. We may decline a second trial for the same business.

How you pay — card, through a secure processor

You pay for your subscription by debit or credit card, on a secure checkout page hosted by our payment partner. In Pakistan that partner is Safepay, a payment processor licensed by the State Bank of Pakistan. The card details are entered on the processor's page and handled by the processor — NexusTill does not see or store your full card number.

Payment works like this:

  • You choose a plan on the Billing screen and continue to secure checkout.
  • You enter your card details on our payment partner's hosted page and authorise the subscription.
  • The processor confirms the payment to us, and your plan is activated automatically.

Prices are charged in the currency shown at checkout and exclude any tax that applies. You authorise us, through our payment partner, to charge your card the subscription amount for your chosen plan, now and on each renewal, until you cancel.

Where local rules require it, a payment may need extra verification (for example a one-time code from your bank). If a charge is declined, your plan is not activated or renewed until a successful payment is made.

We will never ask you for your card details by email, phone or message. You only ever enter them on the processor's own secure checkout, reached from inside your account.

Automatic renewal

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly for a monthly plan, yearly for an annual plan — and your saved card is charged the then-current price for the next period, so your service continues without interruption.

Before each renewal we make the upcoming charge and its date visible in the Billing screen. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel before the renewal date (see Cancelling below). Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period you are already in.

If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and will tell you. If it still cannot be collected, access pauses at the end of the period you last paid for — nothing is deleted, and paying re-activates it with your data where you left it.

Cancelling

Cancel at any time from the Billing screen or by emailing us. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.

You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that the account stops. Ask us within 30 days and we will send you a copy of your data; ask us to delete it and we will, as described in the privacy policy.

Refunds

The short version: the 7-day trial exists so that nobody has to buy first and find out afterwards, and we do not refund time you have already had. We do refund duplicate charges, the wrong amount, and a charge for a plan you did not choose — back to the card you paid with.

The full detail — what we refund, what we don't, how to ask, and how card refunds and disputes work — is on our refund policy page.

Your data

Your business data is yours. We do not sell it, we do not mine it to build anything, and we will export it for you on request while your account is open and for 30 days after it closes.

How we handle personal data — yours, your staff and your customers — is set out in the privacy policy.

You are responsible for the personal data you enter about other people. If you record a customer phone number or a staff national ID number, you need a reason to hold it and, where the law requires, their consent. We hold it on your behalf and act on your instructions.

Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. We will export your data whenever you ask, and a business that has never once asked is carrying a risk we cannot carry for it.

Acceptable use

Use NexusTill for your own lawful business. Do not:

  • Share or resell your access, or let a business that is not yours trade on your account.
  • Copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the software, or try to extract its source.
  • Attack the service — scraping, load testing, attempts to reach another business data, or probing for vulnerabilities without asking us first.
  • Enter unlawful content, or use the product to defraud anyone.
  • Use the product to send messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
  • Remove or obscure our branding, or present NexusTill as your own product.

If you find a security problem, email us. We will thank you, and we would far rather hear it from you than read about it.

Tax and invoices

NexusTill produces quick and tax invoices and calculates tax from the rates you configure. It does not file anything for you.

Your rates, your registration numbers, your invoices and your filings are your responsibility. Figures produced by the software are not tax advice, and you should check them against what your accountant tells you.

The AI assistant

On the plans that include it, the assistant answers questions about your own data, within a daily limit the product shows you. It cannot see another business data, and it obeys the same permissions as the person asking.

It can still be wrong. Check anything that matters before you act on it, and do not treat it as accounting, tax or legal advice. What is sent to our AI provider is set out in the privacy policy.

Availability and support

We work to keep NexusTill available and to fix problems quickly, but we do not offer an uptime guarantee or service credits. Maintenance, a hosting failure or your own connection can interrupt it.

The Android app keeps taking sales while your internet is down and syncs them afterwards. That is a real feature and we depend on it too — but it is not a promise that no sale can ever fail to sync. Watch the sync indicator, and tell us straight away if something looks wrong.

Support is by email. Scale includes priority support.

Changes to the product, and to these terms

We improve the product continuously and features change. We will not remove something significant from a plan you are paying for without telling you first.

If we change prices, existing customers get at least 30 days notice by email and the new price applies from your next period. A price rise is never applied to a period you have already paid for.

If we change these terms we change the date at the top and email account owners about anything material. Carrying on using NexusTill after that means you accept the new version; if you do not, cancel and we will refund any period you have paid for but not yet used.

Suspension and termination by us

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used for fraud or an unlawful purpose, or that has not paid. Except where the problem is serious or urgent, we will warn you first and give you a fair chance to put it right.

If we close your account we will give you a copy of your data.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to that, NexusTill is provided as it is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, lost business or lost goodwill, or for loss caused by your own hardware, your internet connection, or what your staff do with your account.

Our total liability to you, for everything arising out of this agreement, is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the three months before the event that caused the claim.

Payment disputes and chargebacks

If you see a charge from NexusTill you do not recognise, or you believe you were charged in error, contact us first at support@nexustill.com. We can almost always explain or fix it faster than a formal dispute — a duplicate charge, a wrong amount, or a renewal you meant to cancel is usually resolved within a few working days.

You also keep the right to dispute a card charge with your bank or card issuer (a “chargeback”). If you raise a chargeback, we will provide our payment partner with the record of your subscription, the charge and your use of the service. Where a chargeback is raised for a charge that was in fact valid, we may suspend the account until the matter is resolved.

Raising a chargeback is not a substitute for cancelling — cancel from the Billing screen (or by emailing us) to stop future renewals; a chargeback on a past period does not cancel the subscription by itself.

Governing law and disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of Pakistan, and any dispute arising out of it that cannot be resolved directly is subject to the courts of Multan, Pakistan.

We would much rather sort out a problem than argue about it. So before anything formal: write to us, tell us plainly what went wrong, and give us a real chance to put it right. Most things end there. If it cannot be resolved that way, both sides agree to try in good faith to settle it — first directly, then through neutral mediation or arbitration that either of us may propose — before either side takes it to court.

Nothing in this section removes any right you have under the consumer-protection law that applies to you, which continues to apply regardless of what this agreement says.
